Digital Marketing Definition

When I looked for the definition I found many websites with really good ones, the first one I found was in Wikipedia, it summarizes the definitions I found in other websites and blogs.

The role of Digital Marketing is to promote products and services efficiently, intelligently using digital tools.(Millar, 2010) It is not another channel as it requires a new approach to marketing and a new understanding of customer behavior.

It is uses more tools than internet as today there are many ways to create awareness, interaction and reach consumers in an opportune, relevant, personal and lucrative manner.
